Leatherstone Equestrian Center is hosting a Markus Tonn Hunter/Jumper Clinic

Date: November 26-27 2011

Location: Leatherstone Equestrian Centre ( www.rideinguelph.com)

Cost: Rider Spots 4-6 riders (90 minutes) Novice/Green, Intermediate, Advanced groups:            Rider Spots: $90/day

           Auditing: $20/day @ the door.

Stabling: Day stabling $25, Limited over night $30, trailering available.

About Markus Tonn:

Markus was borin in Stralsund, Germany to a family of highly devoted professional horsemen.  His father Volker Tonn was a successful international rider in eventing and showjumping - competed on the German Eventing team at the 1968 Olympics in  Mexico, he also competed in several Nations Cups etc.  His brother Marco Tonn is a successful rider/trainer up to the Grand Pric level.

         

Marcus Tonn has achieved much:

18 Grand Prix Victories

Showing successfully at the Grand Prix level for the past 15 years.

First Grand Prix victory at the age of 16.

In 2002 became a qualified Bereiter FN. (licensed professional rider)

Since 2004 has been working as a professional rider and trainer – with a focus on training and preparing horses for sales on the American horse market.

Between 2006 – 2009 he managed personal sporthorse training and sales business in Atlanta, GA and Ocala, FL – importing sporthorses / hunters, jumpers, dressage. (Markus Tonn – Sporthorses LLC)

Since 2010 based part-time in Germany – Professional rider and trainer as well as President of A.H.P. American Horse Products – main distributor for FARNAM in Germany. (Farnam – Red Cell, Leather New etc.)
